William Burman, MD, is an infectious disease specialist with a particular interest in HIV care and prevention. He has worked at Denver Public Health since 1995, initially as Director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic and a researcher on tuberculosis and HIV. Since becoming Director of Denver Public Health in 2011, Dr. Burman has focused on the assessment of the health of Denver's residents, the development of population-level interventions in public health, and improving communication with Denver Public Health's partners and the larger community.
