Christopher Zivalich is the Public Health Intervention Program (PHIP) Manager at the Colorado Health Network, one of the largest HIV treatment and prevention organizations in the state. PHIP makes pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, free and accessible to over 700 Coloradans. As one of the most revolutionary and modern HIV prevention strategies available, PrEP is a critical tool about which he is passionate as both a community advocate and public health professional. Chris identifies as a queer man who actively uses PrEP. He also holds a BA in Journalism from Ithaca College and an MA in Gender Studies with a focus on queer theory from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
