Lisa Filipczak is a public health planner in the Disease Investigation Preparedness and Response Division of Denver Public Health. Her planning and coordination areas include, in part, healthcare coalitions, disaster behavioral health, volunteer management, Health Alert Network (HAN) communication, and community inclusion. Lisa is the co-chair of the Metro Foothills Healthcare Coalition and vice chair of the Denver Disaster Behavioral Health Response team. Lisa has extensive experience working with underserved populations including refugees, people experiencing homelessness and those who are un- or under-insured. Prior to joining Denver Public Health, Lisa worked for more than a decade in health system communication and business development initiatives.
