Comparative effectiveness (CE) studies for managing childhood obesity require the integration of clinical- and community-based data to understand their complementary roles in supporting improved health outcomes. This abstract describes the process we underwent for selecting multisectoral data partners as part of the Childhood Obesity Data Initiative (CODI) project. Participants who attend the session will be able to describe a framework for evaluating the feasibility of linking clinical and community data related to childhood obesity interventions.

Ken Scott is an epidemiologist at Denver Public Health, where he also completed a fellowship in applied public health informatics. Dr. Scott completed a PhD in epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health and a MPH degree at the University of Washington.
