This poster illustrates a quality improvement project of implementing an evidence-based intimate partner violence (IPV) screening and intervention practice in the nurse home visit program. Women are disproportionately affected by IPV. Because the home visit program lacked an evidence-based IPV training and protocol, mothers and their children served by the program faced increased risk for IPV related adverse consequences. The Knowledge to Action framework guided the implementation and the evaluation of this project.
