Building Skills for a More Strategic Public Health Workforce: A Call to Action, developed by the de Beaumont Foundation, recommends that the governmental workforce "develop strategic skills that complement existing discipline-specific expertise". In this session, participants will explore and practice the strategic skills of systems thinking, problem solving, and resource management through Colorado examples, best-practice resources, and interactive activities that harness participant expertise.  Facilitators have a combined 70+ years in public health.
