Every time an individual experiences pulmonary or laryngeal tuberculosis (TB) disease, approximately 10 additional people become infected. Thus, the only way to reach TB elimination is by increasing screening, testing and treatment for TB infection before someone gets sick. This is complicated and demands a multi-disciplinary approach with creative service integration and funding solutions. Join me to learn about TBE in Colorado and tools for effectively engaging multi-disciplinary, statewide stakeholders to improve public health outcomes.
