In September 2018, Tri-County Health Department and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment identified an outbreak of mumps in Colorado associated with a non-vaccinating community. This session highlights the unique challenges public health and community partners encountered during response efforts. Additionally, we will provide an in-depth review of the changing epidemiology of mumps and its impact on disease control efforts as it relates to preparing future public health response plans.
