A medium sized (90FTE) public health agency conducted a comprehensive workforce assessment to explore organizational health and opportunities for improvement. A variety of national and organizational improvement tools were used to develop the assessment which was conducted in two parts, asking about job performance, satisfaction, training needs, trust, understanding and application of health equity, organizational culture, and professional competencies.
