The Office of Behavioral Health is combating disparities in access to mental health services across Colorado through a statewide marketing campaign created by youth. Below the Surface connects youth to Colorado’s Crisis Text Line - a free, confidential text line staffed 24/7 by trained counselors. Since the campaign’s debut, the text line has seen a 157 percent jump in year-over-year usage from youth ages 13-17. This session will cover lessons learned from this promising effort.
