A competent and skilled public health workforce is essential to effectively conduct core public health functions; respond to crises and emergencies; and address social determinates of health. Findings from three national reports will provide the backdrop for a discussion of workforce development needs in Colorado. Participants will share their insights and make recommendations that will be used by the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center to guide future training development.
