Eric Aakko, MS MCHES, is the Division Director for Health Communication, Education, and Planning at the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. Eric has over 20 years experience in public health practice and risk communication at the state and local level in Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and the Mid-West. In addition to his other duties, Eric serves as the Public Information Officer and Accreditation Coordinator for the health department. On weekends, Eric enjoys exploring the backcountry either on skis or mountain bike.
